Amazing Virtual Pee Experience from Japan

As any good geek should know by now Japan has some of the wackiest and
most unusual products anywhere. So when we were visiting Tokyo
recently and saw lines of Japanese schoolgirls waiting to play an
amazing new game for the Wii called Super Pii Pii Brothers we were
only a little surprised. After all with games like WarioWare and
Raving Rabbids the Wii is no stranger to crazy gameplay mechanics...
but it was quite unusual to see the "strap-on" style accessory and
peeing action that Pii Pii Brothers provides. Normally ThinkGeek
doesn't carry video games, but we were so blown-away by Super Pii Pii
Brothers that we immediately got our trusted Japanese importer on the
phone and arranged to bring over a limited quantity of this amazing
Wii game along with some cross regional boot discs to allow play on
USA Wii consoles.

The play mechanics are simple. Prepare yourself by strapping on the
included belt harness and jacking in your Wiimote. A series of toilets
are presented on screen and the challenge is to tilt your body to
control a never-ending stream of pee. Get as much pee in the toilets
as you can while spilling as little on the floor as possible. Sounds
easy eh? Well the toilets open and close whack-a-mole style and
occasionally the stray cat or other cute critter pops up. Spray a cat
for extra points. Get too much pee on the ground and your game is
over. With realistic fluid dynamics for the pee and over 100 different
bathrooms from bars and palaces to automatic Japanese style toilets
you'll be entertained for hours. And wait until your friends see the
multi-player mode with dueling pee streams...

Jak to się dzieje, że jak zaglądam na AdventureDot to nic nie ma ciekawego, a ja nie zajrze jeden dzień to taki wysyp ? W każdym bądź razie trailery już się ściągają, demo nie wiem czy jest sens ale może się odpali (nadzieja matką głupich...).

Zaczne może od stronki Paradise -> Nie jestem pewny czy to wina mojego komputera ale w prawym górnym rogu ekranu cały czas przewija się coś a'la trailer, a ze strony cisza. A z braku zdolności porozumiewania się w języku Moliera przejrzałem jedynie screeny i artworki (czy tylko mi się wydaje czy nowości jakoś mało tam jest ?) oraz przeczytałem wymagania sprzętowe (mogę dalej mieć nadzieje, że gra będzie u mnie działała )
Teraz Dreamfall - całkiem zgrabny trailer, tylko jakoś mi umkneła postać Kiana. A raczej wątpie, aby Fun Com się z niej wycofał. Może to wina późnej pory ? W każdym bądź razie nie jest to może dzieło wybitne ale podobać podobał się i swój cel osiągnął - mimo elementów zręcznościowych chciałbym w Dreamfall zagrać
I na koniec zostawiłem sobie trailer oraz screeny Leonarda - nie pokazują one absolutnie nic wartego uwagi. Screeny przedstawiają jedynie dom, co nawet niekoniecznie musi być screen z gry, a może być pracą "po godzinach" grafika. A trailer poza pokazaniem kilku z owych screenów i paru ogólnych informacjach o samym Da Vincim nie oferuje nam nic więcej.

Pozostaje tylko pobierać demo Keepsake, do rana mam nadzieje się pobierze

"Dirt," which debuted last night on FX, should have been a winner. Focused on a cold-hearted editor at a gossip magazine, it's the perfect setup for giddily over-the-top plotlines and fizzy dialogue — like The Devil Wears Prada on speed, or maybe like what would happen if the kids on "The O.C." grew up and moved to Hollywood.

But based on the first episode, "Dirt" is just bafflingly bad. The scandalous sex and special effects that should make "Dirt" edgy just feel sloppy and pointless, and the writing is dull where it should have been frothy and fun.

The show is supposedly all about Lucy Spiller (Courteney Cox), the face behind the two most important magazines in Hollywood: a fluffball mag called Now that makes careers, and Drrt (yes, two "r"s), the gossip rag that breaks them. Lucy's every bit the fiery editrix: She turns every party conversation into a snarky headline and uses a stun gun on a guy she sleeps with when she decides he's using her to get famous. I liked Lucy, and Cox should get kudos for taking on such a tough role — even though her speeches about Real Journalism and her attempts to display emotions beyond "frigid" seemed off. If the show were just about her, I might keep watching. The real trouble with "Dirt" is its messy subplots. To see what I mean,

The first major misstep is with Don Konkey (Ian Hart), a supposedly brilliant photographer who is schizophrenic and off his medication. His illness comes through on screen in a variety of hallucinations: His sick cat talks to him; his words float in the air and crawl away like inchworms; he sees the faces on the Clairol bottles talking to him in the drugstore. It might have been more subtle to have flashing lights reading "Don's Crazy!" on screen, and yet we don't learn anything more about him. "Dirt" was originally written to focus on Don, so I can guess at least we can be thankful that it doesn't.

The other subplot is a classic Faustian dilemma: Floundering actor Holt McLaren (Josh Stewart) overhears some gossip about a young starlet and agrees to sell the story to Drrt in exchange for a puff piece in Now. That starlet then blames Julia, her best friend and Holt's girlfriend, for leaking the story. Because there's no such thing as an overblown metaphor for good and evil, the young starlet overdoses on cocaine, and Holt runs to Lucy to say he's had a change of heart and won't ever work with the devil — er, Drrt — again. Lucy shows him footage of his girlfriend cheating on him and tells Holt no dice: He's one of her sources now.

The story actually gets more ridiculous from there: The starlet dies, and when Holt finds out, he starts driving like a madman across the LA freeways, wrecking his car in a sequence of terrible "Dukes of Hazzard"-ish special effects. He pulls Julia from the wreckage, carries her from the scene as the car explodes in the background, and appears on the nightly news as a "real-life action hero." Oy.

Nobody on "Dirt" seems to have any fun doing what they do — not the actors vying for fame, not Crazy Don, and not even Lucy, who we see at the end of the episode alone in bed, surrounded by larger-than-life proofs of Drrt. "Dirt" could have been my new guilty-pleasure show, but judging from the pilot, there's not a lot of pleasure (guilty or otherwise) in watching it.

Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to the screen this week in Takashi Shimizu's monumentally frightening horror remake, The Grudge. Empire caught up with Gellar in her suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge - which, it turns out, is surprisingly hard to find - with a mind to probing the depths of this oriental frightfest and discovering the actress's insights into the horror genre, people's atavistic reaction to the supernatural and the psychology of fear itself.
That was the intention. But you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men. What follows is a slight digression covering topics as varied as current literature and the veracity of certain claims regarding Britney Spears' chest.

Empire: Hi. Sorry I'm late, I took a wrong turn and ended up at Buckingham Palace.

Sarah: Really? Did you go in and say hello?
Empire: I would have but the Queen's a bit of a talker, you just can't get away.
Sarah: Well you're on time. I'd never have known. You don't look flummoxed at all.
Empire: Thank you. So, are you having a good time in London?
Sarah: I am, you know. When you have the junkets in LA it's so crazy, as you can imagine. Everyone flies in from all over, people are tired from the flight and you know, you have all the crazy press. But out here everything's just a little calmer - It's been a little more peaceful today.
Empire: Will you be going to Madame Tussauds to fondle your waxwork model?
Sarah: I already did! Back in March. I went with my friend Seth Green and he did lots of inappropriate things to my waxwork version. It was really cool though. What's really fun is that we got to go at night when everything was closed. When you go at night you get to touch the wax figures and sit on their laps… It's genius. We have some of the funniest pictures.
Empire: You weren't tempted to go during the day and just stand really still?
Sarah: Where's the fun in that? What's fun is going and sitting on Madonna's lap, that's fun.
Empire: Granted.
Sarah: What's fun is grabbing Hugh Grant's butt.

Sarah: Actually you probably shouldn't cause she's Britney Spears' publicist too. Yeah, that might be a really bad thing to do. Okay. Well just go to the wax museum and check it out for yourself.
Empire: I will. So, The Grudge: that's a pretty scary film.
Sarah: It is a scary-ass film. People who had seen it before said 'oh my god I watched the whole movie like this' [covers her face with her hands]. I'm like 'nobody watches a movie like that.' But one of my girlfriends was sitting next to me at the premiere and I kid you not [covers face once again]. I'm like, 'can you see the movie?' She's like 'I don't want to!' I tell people it's a great date movie. Forget going to pick-up bars, go see The Grudge! Women will jump all over you.
Empire: It's the kid. There's something inherently frightening about creepy children.
Sarah: Oh yes. That's one scary kid. You know the one thing I didn't get to do was communicate with him all that much. The only person the language barrier was difficult on was him. You know, when you're a child you have a hard enough time communicating with adults. But when you're communicating with adults in another language it's very difficult. But, you know, there were things I wanted to know. Like, what do the other kids in school say to him? Have they seen the movie? Do they not see it 'cause they're too young? I have questions! Do other parents not let their kids play with him… because he sits in closets with cats? I don't know! I never got to ask him.
Empire: He's probably 43, RADA trained and simply slight of build.
Sarah: He is older than he looks. It's the fifth time he's made this film, so...
Empire: Remakes of Japanese horror films seem to be all the rage at the moment. Do you think that's because they're just more frightening than Western horrors?
Sarah: Yeah, and on a different level too. But Japanese films in general… look at the success of Shall We Dance. People need to realise that Japanese filmmakers really have something.
Empire: And of course, Takashi Shimizu had literally only just made the Japanese version of The Grudge, Ju-On.
Sarah: Yeah. Wouldn't it be funny if Sam Raimi said 'Spider-Man 2 worked really well. Fuck Spider-Man 3, let's do 2 again.'
Empire: Or even made it in Japanese.

Sarah: Ah, Konichiwa Spider-Man.
Empire: How is your Japanese?

Hello I'm Carl, the Landlord featured in last week's gazette. Initially I wrote a letter to the gazette which is what prompted them to contact me, however the paper chose to sensationalise things a big by saying that I "slammed the non-smokers" which is not the case. I wrote to the individual who wrote the story telling him I was unhappy about the spin he put on the story, however he chose not to reply to me. I'm glad that I now have an opportunity to put things straight by posting the original letter. The following is what I REALLY said:

What do Unicorns, Fairies, and Non-smoking Pub-Goers have in common?They are all mythical creatures!

The smoking ban has been in effect for just over two months now and I have yet to have the hoards of non-smokers, who repeatedly said, ‶If it wasn’t so smoky and my eyes didn’t sting and my clothes wouldn’t stink of cigarettes smoke, I’d go to the pub” descend upon my pub en masse as promised! Therefore I am left with no choice but to put them in the same category as Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny, although lovely, they just don’t exist!

The smoking ban has left both a tangible and non-tangible negative effects upon my business. The non-tangible effects are, social divide, friends losing contact, lack of ambience, and an empty pub. The atmosphere has changed for the worse. The fun loving folk are either subdued or spend the entire time in the garden (rain or shine) and the fabled non-smoking absentees are still absent.

The tangible negative effects are that I’ve spent a great deal of money to accommodate for my smoking customers by having the beer garden landscaped, erecting a shelter (which adheres to government guidelines), installing seating, purchasing propane heaters and having two wide screen televisions installed. In fact the only thing missing from my beer garden is the bar itself! But all the time and money spent on the beer garden still haven’t had any effect on the decline in business since the ban.

This is a family run pub and a home to myself and my wife, our three children, two dogs, one psychotic cat and one paranoid hamster. If business carries on as it has since the ban, not only are my wife and I in danger of losing our livelihood but the two of us, along with our three children, two dogs, psychotic cat and paranoid hamster will be left homeless. This all caused by government legislation, so will we be entitled to claim back our losses from them like the farmers did?

It appears to me that people are making this out to be a battle: Smokers vs. Non-Smokers, which shouldn’t be the case. It should be smokers AND non-smokers vs. the government. Instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we should join together and stand up to the government for whittling away at our freedom to choose what is best for ourselves and our families.

Regardless of whether you agree with the smoking ban or not, it is just one more law passed that keeps us from making our own decisions. Laws on how to raise our children and giving criminals more rights than law abiding citizens springs to mind. What’s next? Will they be issuing us vouchers that we can exchange for our recommended units of alcohol or recommended units of junk food? I can see it now, packets of crisps being sold on the black market!

The last time I checked this was still a democracy. We pay their wages therefore, the politicians are employed by us, to work for us, not to dictate to us! I think they have forgotten that very important fact and we as a nation should remind them of it.

Not even once!!! Unfortenately. Normally surely without a swimming ring, but this summer's swims haven't been done at least at this point.

What subject did you like and what not? Why?
I've always been bad at math. English was one of my favourites besides gym. Not to mention music of course!

What is your best school memory?
When I wrote a play on the fifth grade and it was chosen to be performed at the spring party (usually had in the beginning of June to celedrate the ending of the school year and beginning of summer vacation). I got to play the main role! I think I was a princess..

Who was your most personal teacher and why?
My music teacher. He saw my ability to make music already in an early stage and encouraged me. He was a young man with a long heavy hair. All the girls had a crush on him.

What do you remember about your music lessons?
I played and sang a lot. We didn't study much about music history or theory, but I had lessons about those outside school at the music institute. It was fun to sing in different assemblies with others.

Did you use a rucksack and what rucksack was your favourite? What is a good rucksack like?
I had a rucksack but I can't remember what it was like. Smile Ouch. A good rucksack has space for everything you need and good carry straps that don't rub the shoulders.

Did you have your school stuff in order in your desk?
I've always been a person of order so I remember putting books and other stuff in good order.

What was your style like in school? Does it have something same as your style now?
Well I think it had nothing the same. Otherwise I'm still the same girl. I was really determined, but pretty shy because the boys didn't give me many possibilities to stand out. I dressed pretty much the same as other children. Colours included neon colours, black and white. And we used lovely suspenders!

Can I say regards to our readers? What kind of?
Sure you can! Remember to be active in other hobbies besides school. It can really become a profession as has happened to me. A big thank you for your support. It always warms my mind to get lovely fan letters. Unfortenately I don't have time to answer them because the rush is infernal at the moment, but you're all in my thoughts. To mój trzeci win

Od jakiegoś czasu grałem łucznikami, przed tym panem 10 zaliczyło zgon.

Początek gry był standardowy, wziąłem questa na cieślę i kranacha. Akurat tuż po wyjściu z wioski zaatakował mnie Kranach z paczką, ubiłem ich bez większego wysiłku. Generacja SMC i do Lawencośtam. W sklepie leżała sobie spear of devastation za jedyne 10k złota. Uratowałem cieślę (w VD znalazłem neutralny ołtarz), poszwendałem się po ID, zabiłem Hotziego i akurat starczyło. I z tą bronią w łapie chodziłem do końca gry

Przebiłem się przez UD (nic godnego uwagi), do HMV, potem do Dwarftown (po drodze oczywiście wizyta na arenie). Już nawet nie pamiętam jakiego potwora dziadek kazał zabić. Mysic niestety nie dał SoCRów. Wykonałem jego questy (DH mi się bardzo ładnie wygenerowały, mogłem bezpiecznie przechodzić), wyczyściłem piramidę, zabiłem Nonnaka, odwiedziłem gremliny. Koronowałem się też w VD poświęcając stworki i niepotrzebny sprzęt. Whirlwind i fire immunity.

Po dośc długim obchodzie ID znalazłem AoLSa. Uratowałem Khelka i wyczyściłem Water Temple (prościzna). Doszedłem do wall of flames, po drodze minor vault mieszany, oczywiście banshee, itp. Wróciłem na powierzchnię. Mimo braku odporności na confuse'a poszedłem do ToTHK. Skeletal king padł po 3 arrows of undead slaying. Następnie poszedłem do Dark Forge. Golemy rzadko trafiały, zadawały koło 3 obrażeń, jedynie krytykiem ze 30. Niestety w środku nic ciekawego nie było.

Odłożyłem złom u barbariana i poszedłem do ToEF. Większych problemów nie miałem,. Na górze utrzymywałem niewidziałkę za pomocą flaszek. Wywabiłem ACW do korytarza i zastrzeliłem. Chwyciłem co moje i dłuuuuga.

Rozpocząłem final dive.

Do kasyna nic ciekawego. Na miejscu kupiłem trochę żarcia, potiony leczące, różdźki i przede wszystkim 7LB. Cat lord dał 3 poziomy, ale trochę od niego oberwałem.

Pod kasynem 2 minor vaulty, oddalone od siebie o 2 poziomy. Jeden z czarnymi, drugi z czerwonymi smokami. Znalazłem tam 2 SoCRy, PoGA, drugie 7LB, masę expa, shield marków (smoki bardzo ładnie je nabijają) i WoWi (2xSoCRy i Athletics).

Air temple poszło bez większych trudności, najpierw wywabiłem zewnętrzną obstawę do korytarza i ich zaciukałem. Potem za pomoca wand of digging zrobiłem otwór do samego środka, wyciągnąłem wszystkich do korytarza i utłukłem.

Earth temple było trudniejsze. Wyciagałem po 1 gościu na wyższy level, aż ASB nie podeszła. Ją też zabrałem wyżej i naszpikowałem strzałami.

Niżej były 2 major vaulty undeadów. Próbowałem zaatakować, ale szło bardzo opornie, a z powodu przekroczenia 90 dnia korupcje leciały bardzo szybko. Za to na 1 poziomie unreal caves znalazłem pokoik tytanów. Nie stanowili większego zagrożenia, a expa sporo dali. Znalazłem też sklepik z różnościami. Jedynym ciekawym przedmiotem był Great Black Wyrm corpse za... 105gp

Aż do MT nic ciekawego mnie nie spotkało. W świątyni z powodu braku różdźki musiałem sam szukać pułapek. Otworzyłem drzwi i strzeliłem z ofFarSlaying w kierunku Nuraaga. Sam wróciłem do korytarza i tłukłem wszystko, co się napatoczyło, aż nie pojawił się mój przyjaciel. Walka była dość prosta, zużyłem 1 !ofExtraHealing.

No i poszedłem na dół...

Z !ofUselessness dostałem scorched spear (nieciekawe). Na dole na przemian używałem łuku i procy (Balory, WMoPC, Ghost Lordy) i mojej kochanej włóczni (reszta).z komnat z chaos mutantami przebiłem się do korytarzy z dźwigniami, wytłukłem wszystko. Postawiłem na dźwigniach potworki, otoczyłem je drzwiami i wyszedłem. Zrobiłem jeszcze quest White Unricorna zanim opuściłem Darkalor Chain...
